ToxiTails ("we", "our", or "us") operates the ToxiTails mobile application for Android (Package name: com.toxitails.app) and the website toxitails.com. This Privacy Policy describes our practices in accordance with Google Play Developer Program policies and applicable privacy laws.

3. How We Use Data

4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data.
Data is shared only with service providers that help us run the app:
- Supabase — cloud hosting, authentication, database (data processor)
- Plant identification API — processes images to identify plants
These providers are bound to use data only to deliver services to us.

- Stored on secure cloud infrastructure (Supabase)
- Access limited to authorized systems and personnel
6. Data Retention & Deletion
We keep your data while your account is active. You can request account and data deletion by emailing support@toxitails.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and the email address linked to your account.
We will verify your identity and delete your account data within 30 days, except where we must retain information for legal obligations.
7. Permissions (Android)
The app may request the following permissions:
- Internet — connect to our servers
- Camera — take plant and pet photos (when you choose)
- Photos / media — select images from your gallery (when you choose)
Permissions are used only for the features described and not for unrelated purposes.
8. Children's Privacy
ToxiTails is not intended for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. Contact us to request removal if you believe a child has provided personal information.
9. Your Rights
You may request to access, correct, or delete your personal data by contacting support@toxitails.com. Users in the EU/UK may have additional rights under GDPR. Users in California may have rights under CCPA/CPRA.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above. Please review this page periodically.
